Personal accident insurance provides accidental death benefits and any emergency medical expenses up to the cover limits as displayed in the policy wording.
This is not typically included with a rental providers standard collision damage waiver, however they do often include this as an upgradable extra at an additional cost. Sometimes your travel insurance policy will already include personal accident cover for car rentals on holiday.
