Rental providers will still request their deposits and will still pre authorise any funds when you arrive to collect a vehicle. Different car rental suppliers and desks have different terms and conditons however when it comes to leaving a deposit, some require a credit card, some accept other means of payment so we recommend you check ideally before paying for your car hire that you know what is needed in advance.
Our car hire excess policies are independent of the car rental providers and should the unfortunate happen and the vehicle suffers damage you would need to claim any excess that has been subtracted from our underwriters thus covering any costs you lost.
